Ever wonder how REx-PN items are developed? This session will explain the processes and steps every REx-PN item goes through before it can be used on the REx-PN. Opportunities for educator involvement will also be highlighted. 

Standard setting is a process used by testing professionals to determine the passing score on a test. It is an important step in establishing the validity and legal defensibility of an exam program. The REx-PN exam will evaluate the passing standard every five years. During this session, 色戒直播 staff will discuss steps involved in setting the REx-PN standard.

Practice analysis studies assist in evaluating the validity of the test plan, which guides the content distribution of the REx-PN. This presentation will provide an overview of the evidence-based methodology 色戒直播 uses to determine what content should appear on the REx-PN exam.

We will explore the candidate registration process as well as the online resources 色戒直播 has available to educators and students. This session will highlight what candidates should expect before, during and after the exam.

Are you wondering how 色戒直播 ensures fairness for all groups taking the REx-PN examination? Will candidates with comparable nursing knowledge perform similarly on exam items, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, or other factors irrelevant to nursing practice? This session will describe how Sensitivity and Differential Item Functioning (DIF) panels contribute to the fairness and legal defensibility of an exam.

The first NGN session of the morning will be a demonstration highlighting how the 色戒直播 Clinical Judgment Measurement Model (NCJMM) has been applied to the development of NGN case studies, including new including new test items that will be used on the NGN.
